What is Thermography?

Thermography is now the leading non-intrusive, non-invasive and non-destructive tool used in an ever widening range of areas. All objects above -273°C or 0 Kelvin (absolute zero) emit infra-red energy and we utilise this using our Flir P640 camera with a view to identifying previously unidentifiable faults which would often lead to costly failures and downtime.

Most commonly used to find "Hot Spots" in electrical equipment; infrared technology has uses in plenty of other places including the petrochemical, mining, dairy, timber, food and smelting industries particularly as more plants incorporate comprehensive predictive maintenance programs into their routines.

The areas in which we operate can be described as predictive maintenance, condition monitoring, problem diagnostics and research and development.
